King Tut

Passing through a bunch of styles and hooking them together into an insane meld of music that surpases any expectation you have for music. Animal Collective, except alot more lo-fi, and recorded in a bedroom or some place very cozy like home. King Tut had a run in with thesixtyone a while back, but now that the initial wave has died down I decided I'd post something from them.

Their tunes have a happy flow that jumps from folk inspired guitars to experimental electronics. Also, their lyrics blew my mind with bits like:

"the mothership is comming down

see right there it's landing now

don't run away, don't run away

we gotta represent the humans

if they blast us all to hell

then atleast we can go to hell

together, together "

This song is really spacey, and happy. It has a regal sound to it, like they're using really old instruments, backed by a banjo or something else earthy. Enjoy the video:
